Weird and Hilarious Japanese auctions

Written by Key Chi Guy

Sometimes you will come across some really weird shit on Yahoo! Japan auctions. And when I say shit, I literally mean it.

Here is someone who was auctioning off a nice piece of turd.

No, it isn't real. It is handmade from leftover clay and includes stained toilet paper for realism.

Several years ago was this following "gem":

All Pikachus are captured to order from the Pikachu Forest to guarantee their health and quality. A great conversation piece, a companion for those living alone, or a great present. First come, first served and limited to only the first 20. If you purchase 3 months worth of Pikachu food, an hour long instructional video for raising your Pikachu will be included.

The ending bid for this turned out to be 99,000,002,805,760 円. That is $900+ million U.S. dollars take or give a few hundred thousand bucks. Obviously a joke auction with a bunch of invalid bids but I have to LOL if one of those were actually serious.
