Papers sent to prosecutor in graffiti case

Written by Nippon Sekai

Documents were sent to the public prosecutors office in Osaka on the 28th in regards to the vandalism of Osaka City Subway vehicles with graffiti.

Back in October, Osaka police apprehended a Hungarian and Slovakian national who were suspected of breaking into Shin Osaka Station and tagging graffiti on several Midosuji Line cars in September. Police found paint spray cans at a residence they were staying at. They are suspected to be part of a group of graffiti artists who tagged transportation networks in cities around the world.

Several trains had been vandalized and spray painted in different incidents around the same time in Tokyo, Yokohama, Kawaguchiko and nine other cases across the country which are also suspected to be perpetuated by this same group.
